The event is named after the initial Three Universities – Mie University (Japan), Chiang Mai University (Thailand) and Jiangsu University (China) – who are then called as the founder of Tri-U IJSS (Tri-University International Joint Seminar and Symposium). Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) started to join the event in 2003 and has been participating continually since then. Due to its consistent participation and its good achievement of the participating students, IPB was accepted as the 4th founder of Tri-U IJSS in 2009 and was successfully hosted the12th Tri-U IJSS in 2012 and the 23rd Tri-U IJSS. This year, the event will be held in Chiang Mai University at 4 – 9 November 2018. Also, this event offers young scientists and students a unique opportunity to exchange their ideas on:

2. Food

3. Energy

4. Environment

5. Sustainable Society

Eligibility

1. Full time students of IPB (Undergraduate/Master/Doctoral)

2. Students must be enrolled in IPB during this program

3. Students must submit an abstract according to the requirement before the deadline

Financial Support

The registration fee and 50% of the flight cost will be waived for all selected participants

Abstract Requirements

1. Abstract must be based on the research result (data from PKM/PKL/KKP activities are also eligible)

2. Literature study will not be accepted

3. Abstract must be written in English (200 – 300 words)

4. Title, student name, student ID, department, faculty, e-mail address and cellular phone number must be clearly indicated on the abstract

5. The abstract should be about these following topics: Population, Food, Energy, Environment and Sustainable Society
