There are many factors intensifying drought in the future in Indonesia i.e. land use change and population growth, poor land use management causing reservoir sedimentation, and climate change. The drought can be solved by collaboration between ministry of agriculture, ministry of forestry, and ministry of public works to develop infrastructure and to improve land use management in Indonesia.
