Ministry’s “Academic Leader Awards 2019” Granted 3 Awards For IPB University


Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of Republic of Indonesia held “Academic Leader Award 2019” granted to lecturers with remarkable innovation and leadership. Rector of IPB University—Dr. Arif Satria, together with Prof. Prof. Slamet Budijanto. and Dr. Illah Sailah from IPB Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, are awarded for category of “Lecturer with Added responsibility as University Leader”, “Lecturer” (in Technology), and “Head of Higher Education Service Body”, respectively. Read more >

International Recognition towards IPB University’s Business Incubator


IncuBie—IPB University’s business incubator received the Presidential Award from International Council for Small Business–Indonesia, a global non-profit organization established since 1956 which aims to manage and educate small-medium enterprises (SMEs). In past 25 years, Incubie has fabricated 265 companies and start-ups. It assists tenants on design and implementation through 1-3 year-long business incubation program. Read more >

IPB University Hosted The 5th Southeast Asian University Consortium Graduate Forum


IPB University is humbled to host the 5th Southeast Asian University Consortium Graduate Forum that involved both students and lecturers. Consortium members do not come exclusively from South East Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines) but also Japan and Taiwan. Students from total 7 universities altogether also declared establishment of the Asian Graduate Student Forum (AGSF) to focus on SDGs-derived issues. Read more >

Tribute To Innovators 2019: IPB University’s Appreciation For Innovators


Every year, IPB University holds the Tribute to Innovators aiming as high appreciation towards institution’s aspiring lecturers, researchers, innovators, as well as work units and startups. This year, awards were presented to 87 winners for their achievements in generating innovations in 12 various categories. As the nation’s most innovative campus, total of 400 innovations have been produced by IPB University, where 106 of which have been commercialized. Read more >
