IPB University Ranks 59th in 2020 QS WUR by Subject: Agriculture and Forestry
IPB University once again solidified its place on worldwide rankings, by ranking within Top 60 in QS World University Ranking by Subject: Agriculture and Forestry, besides named in 2 (two) other subjects namely “Environmental Sciences” (Top 400) & “Biological Sciences” (Top 600). IPB University holds no. 1 positions nationwide for these 3 (three) subjects. This year, the prestigious QS ranks total of 151 countries, 4,763 institutions & 1,620 qualified institutions. As part of the State Visit and Economical Mission of the Netherlands to Indonesia, the Vice Minister of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Quality of the Netherlands—Mr. Jan-Kees Goet, visited IPB University on March 11th, 2020. Collaborating with NUFFIC NESO, visits included tour to the Agribusiness and Technology Park (ATP), Tree Planting agenda & “College Tour” talkshow (as part of The 45th IPB Talk on Complexity and Sustainability Sciences) for 300 students and academia. IPB University Welcomes Honorable Visit and Public Lecture from the Korean Ambassador for Indonesia
Honorable visit by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea for Indonesia—H.E. Mr. Kim Chang-Beom to IPB University was warmly welcomed, aiming for strengthening partnership ties between IPB University & Korean institutions. Part of the visit was also public lecture (The 44th IPB Talk on Complexity and Sustainability Sciences) about “Indonesia-Korea Relations, K-Wave & Education in Korea” which was enthusiastically received by IPB University academia. IPB University’s Young Lecturer Partakes in Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility in Lithuania
Ms. Indri Hapsari Fitriyani—young lecturer from Department of Soil Science and Land Management, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB University partook in teaching mobility through Erasmus+ in Vytautas Magnus University-Agriculture Academy (VMU-AA), Lithuania in March 9th-16th, 2020. IPB University Reinforced Ties through SUIJI Service Learning Program with Three Japanese Universities
The collaboration ties between IPB University and three Japanese universities—Kagawa University, Ehime University and Kochi University, is once again strengthened through the Six University Initiative of the Japan-Indonesia-Service Learning Program (SUIJI SLP).
