IPB University Celebrates 57th Dies Natalis

IPB University held the 57th Dies Natalis on September 1st, 2020, with the theme Excellent Human Resource and Agromaritime Innovation 4.0 for an Independent Indonesia. At the opening event, IPB University was congratulated by the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, for achieving the title of best university in Indonesia at the recent Clustering Program organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Read more >> 

Fruitful Online Orientation 2020 for IPB International Students 

The Orientation Program of IPB University’s new international students has been held virtually, participated by 26 international students. At the event, the new IPB University curriculum, the IPB 4.0 Curriculum was explained. IPB Center for Transdisciplinary & Sustainability Science Joins UN–Sustainable Development Solutions Network

IPB University’s Center for Transdisciplinary and Sustainability Science has officially been approved as part of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), a network established to promote practical solutions of sustainable development by mobilizing scientifical expertise and technology. Among those, the network aims to promote the implementation of SDGs and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. Read more >>

IPB Vocational School’s 2020 Students Orientation Sets World Record 

IPB University’s Vocational School has set a new world record for The Greatest Number of Photos and Images in Mosaic by Record Holders Republic, Virtually. The mosaic video forms 7 images made from 5.686 photos during the 57th Vocational School Orientation Program. The program lasted for two days and was attended using Zoom Conference Application and through YouTube live stream. Read more >>

IPB University Alumnus—Director of IRRI Southeast Asia, Shares Expertise on Community-based Forest Management 

Dr Yurdi Yasmi, alumnus of IPB University who is currently the Director of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) Southeast Asia, attended a Forestry Recitation Event to discuss about community-based forest management. He specifically focused on social forestry, its implementation, and gave examples of the ongoing practiced concept in other countries. Read more >>
