IPB University Ranks 7th in the World for SDG #2 Zero Hunger in THE Impact Rankings 2021

IPB University has been ranked 7th in the world by THE Impact Rankings 2021 for the 2nd Sustainable Development Goal: Zero Hunger. IPB University has also been placed within the Top 100 for three other SDGs which were 64th for SDG#15: Life on Land, 77th for SDG#14: Life below Water, and 65th for SDG#1: No poverty.  Read more >

Halal Gelatin from Fish Byproducts Created by IPB University Researcher

Team of IPB University Researchers, led by Dr Mala Nurilmala, had created a new alternative for Halal gelatin made of fish byproducts which could be a solution for the increasing demand of Halal gelatin uncovered by the cow-based gelatin. The fish-based gelatin is mainly purposed for the production of capsules, but could be utilized for other purposes as well such as food and cosmetic products.     Read more >

IPB University Ready to Assist in Preclinical Trials of COVID-19 Merah-Putih Vaccine

IPB University’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Primate Research Center (PSSP) and IPB University’s Institute of Research and Community Development (LPPM) are ready to assist in the preclinical trials of the Indonesian-made COVID-19 Merah Putih vaccine. The preclinical trials would be conducted on laboratory animals before proceeding to the next step which are human clinical trials.  Read more >
