Biology Department of IPB University Holds International Conference on Biodiversity

The 4th International Conference on Biosciences was successfully held by IPB University’s Biology Department on August 12th. This event was the result of a collaboration between IPB University, the Indonesian Biological Society and Universiti Putra Malaysia. Johannes Kieft from the United Nations Environment Programme Indonesia (UNEP) was present to talk about sustainability for biodiversity and described the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to ensure sustainable developments which would conserve biodiversity..     Read more >

126 Scientific Manuscripts Presented at the 2nd International Seminar of Natural Resources and Environmental Management by IPB University 

The International Seminar on Natural Resources and Environmental Management was held for the second time by IPB University with the Center for Environmental Sciences and the Geospatial Information Agency. The event was attended by 300 participants with 126 scientific manuscripts presented. Multiple speakers from various countries and institutions were present at the seminar as keynote speakers. .  Read more >

IPB University’s Tropical Biopharmaceutical Research Center Introduces the Metabolomic Method to Detect Herbal Medicine
The Tropical Biopharmaceutical Research Center (TropBRC) successfully held its Online Summer Course on August 2nd with the topic of new approaches in herbal medicine. The course focuses on metabolomic methods to detect herbal medicine. The Summer Course was warmly received with 100 people from more than 6 countries participating to hear the lectures presented by 13 keynote speakers.        Read more >
