International Conference on Integrated Coastal Management & Marine Biotechnology Successfully Held for the 3rd Time by IPB University’s CCMRS

As part of the Dies Natalis celebration of IPB University’s Center for Coastal and Marine Resources Studies, the 3rd International Conference on Integrated Coastal Management & Marine Biotechnology was held on August 11th- 12th, 2021, and attended by 330 participants from eight countries. The event had invited multiple speakers who are experts in their fields related to coastal and marine sciences.      Read more >

A Highlight on the Electronic Fish Aggregating Devices, Innovation of IPB University Lecturer, on National Technology Day 2021 

The Electronic Fish Aggregrating Devices, eFAD for short, had put a twist on the regular FAD by providing portable and mobile features to help fishermen to cut down costs spent on fishing. The innovation was created by Dr Roza and her team. Dr Roza was invited by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology to speak about her innovation on the 26th National Technology Day celebrated on August 10th.Read more >

IPB University’s Department of Marine Science & Technology Opens Micro Credentials Program 
The Micro Credentials Program known as KMMI, was recently opened by the Department of Marine Science and Technology to support the Independent Learning -Independent Campus Program by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. The program offers in-depth knowledge related to marine science and was opened for students all across Indonesia. As many as 632 students from 53 universities had applied to this program.        Read more >
