IPB University’s Faculty of Economics and Management Launches Dual Degree with Western Sydney University, Australia at the 2021 ESL Summer Course

A new joint double degree program between IPB University’s Faculty of Economics and Management and Western Sydney University (Australia) was announced at the 2021 ESL Summer Course held by IPB University’s Department of Resources and Environmental Economics. The course itself was themed “Reducing Carbon Footprints: Lesson Learned for Post COVID-19 World” and attended by 232 participants from 13 countries.     Read more >

Dr Irfan Syauqi Beik Represents Indonesia to Review the Role of Zakat and Wakaf in United Nations Dialogue

Dr Irfan Syauqi Beik, IPB University expert in Islamic Finance, had represented Indonesia in a discussion with the United Nations and the Islamic Development Bank held on July 14th. Dr Irfan explained about how social Islamic Finance could be the means to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The discussion focused on zakat, waqf, and the types of programs under both of these Islamic Finance social programs as well as the potential which could be attained through zakat and waqf, especially in Indonesia. .  Read more >

IPB Holds Live Virtual Pre-Departure Training for Double Degree dan Credit Earning in Social Protection and Security with Belgium and Germany
Before departing for a Double Degree and Credit Earning Program in Belgium and Germany, IPB University students were equipped with virtual training as a buffer for their adaptation to life in Europe. Special speakers from the Association of Indonesian Students in both countries, destination partner universities and Indonesian universities from both countries were invited to provide material in this training program.      Read more >
