Acacia Wood Extract as Feed Supplement to Successfully Reduce Methane Gasses in Livestock

Dr Anuraga, the Head of IPB University’s Department of Nutrition and Feed Technology, Faculty of Animal Science, explain research findings on how acacia extract could successfully reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the animal husbandry industry. Results also show an increase in the animal’s daily weight gain which increases the farmers’ income. This research has been worked on by Dr Anuraga and team for 13 years.      Read more >

Ambassador of Ethiopia for Indonesia Visits IPB University for Partnership in Agricultural Education

The Ambassador of Ethiopia for Indonesia visits IPB University to initiate partnerships in the field of agricultural education. Ethiopia has opened new universities focusing on postgraduate programs in agriculture which presents new possibilities in collaboration, including exchange and research collaborations. The visit has opened up new doors to potentially initiate partnerships in other fields as well.  Read more >

IPB University Student Wins Gold Medal in Malaysia through Iqropolly

IPB University student team wins 1st Place in Malaysia Technology Expo for their invention of Iqropolly, a psychomotor-based learning aimed to improve the Islamic character education in children. The team is part of the Pondok Inspirasi Program where weekly activities of learning with children are held. The Iqropolly is a fundamental part of this learning activity to be developed and improved further in the future.  Read more >
