IPB University Places 1st in Indonesia’s Higher Education Clustering 2020
IPB University has placed first in Higher Education Clustering 2020 nationwide according to the Ministry of Education and Culture of Republic of Indonesia. The evaluation by Ministry’s Higher Education Clustering program was to formulate a quality characterization of the higher education institutions documented in the Ministry’s database known as PD Dikti. Among the data evaluated for this clustering, four indicators were used to arrange the universities: input, process, output, and outcome. Read more >>
Total 17 IPB students partake in Fall 2020 Exchange in South Korea
IPB University, altogether with Jeonbuk National University and Chonnam National University (South Korea), are thankful to still actively engage in holding student exchange throughout Fall 2020 semester. Given the current pandemic challenge, all parties strictly implement the recommended health protocols, including mandatory 14 day-long self-quarantine and PCR/Swab test prior program starts. IPB University-Monash University Engaged in 4-week Joint Lecture Series
A joint lecture series between IPB University and Monash University was held with the topic “The Role of Logistics and Food Chain Supply in Food Security”. The lecture focuses on how food security can be achieved and the factors which influences the smooth running of the food chain supply. IPB Business School organized international E-Summer Course and E-Conference in partnership with Putra Business School Malaysia, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Hiroshima University, Kirirom Institute of Technology. and Japan and Indonesia Risk Management Professional Association. Themed “The New Dynamics of Business Innovation and Engineering: Creating and Protecting Value in the Era of Industry 4.0 & Society 5.0″, hundreds students originating from 20+ countries participated, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Poland, Cambodia, Bangladesh, India, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam participated. Wageningen University & Research’s Professor Speaks on Politics across Borders
The Faculty of Human Ecology (FEMA), IPB University, has held an international seminar with the theme “Sustainability Development”. This seminar was held in the commemoration of FEMA’s establishment 15 years ago. Prof Otto Hospes from Wageningen University and Research was invited in this seminar to speak about politics across borders and joined by IPB expert in rural sociology, Dr Rilus A Kinseng as speakers.
