Entering the half period of 2018, there are a lot of interesting news about universities’ development coming up to the surface, requiring the universities to prepare more fresh and modern way of disseminating their research and attracting outstanding students. Universities’ development in the term of education and collaboration are the key factors to make the universities being known globally. Assessed through many kinds of indicators such as the reputation of university’s faculty staffs, the activity of its students, global acknowledgement of the university’s programs and the university’s research activities, QS World University Rankings (WUR) launched the world rankings of all world-class universities for the year 2019, which includes Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). Related to QS WUR, IPB is successfully being placed on #701 – 750 in the rankings, following University of Indonesia (UI), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Padjajaran University (UNPAD) and Airlangga University (UNAIR). IPB’s increasing reputation makes IPB become one of the universities in Indonesia that affects the development of research and education in Indonesia. Therefore, IPB keeps extending its network to open greater opportunities in joint-research programs, one of which is establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IPB and the world-class universities that occupy #1-200 rankings in QS World University Rankings 2019.
