IPB University Laboratories Assigned for COVID-19 Samples Testing
In contribution of COVID-19 pandemic measure, IPB University has assigned three (3) Biosafety Level-2 laboratories for COVID-19 samples testing. By mid-April 2020, as many as 117 samples have been analyzed using Real Time RT-PCR method standardized by the Indonesian Ministry of Health and WHO guidelines. IPB Laboratory of Medical Microbiology, Veterinary Medicine Faculty as well produce up to 250-500 Virus Transport Mediums (VTM) daily to be donated to the Health Services Agency and hospitals in need. IPB University Monitors IPB Inbound and Outbound Academia under COVID-19
Total 85 students from various countries who are still staying in Bogor are being continuously monitored by the IPB University due to COVID-19 pandemic. To maintain their good condition, face masks, hand sanitizers, vitamin C, free meal coupons and free produces have been supplied. Meanwhile, IPB University students and staff members currently studying abroad are also being monitored. All students and staffs monitored are in sound condition. Read more >>
