IPB and RSAU-MTAA Moscow–Russia: Strengthening the Students, Lecturers and Researchers Exchange

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) agreed on collaboration with the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy (RSAU–MTAA) regarding reinforcement in students and lecturers exchange programme alongside with advancement of agricultural and environmental research projects. President of Namibia Visit to IPB on Recent Agricultural Innovations

Visit to Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) was included in visits schedule of President of Namibia—Dr. Hage Geingob and delegations in Indonesia. Following the MoU signing between the two nations’ collaboration initiations in economic, infrastructural and agricultural sector (including fishery and marine), President Hage Geingob attended IPB innovations showcase in Agribusiness Development Station (ADS). Read more >>


IPB Undergraduate Freshmen Broke the World’s Record on “The Most 3D People Formation”

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) undergraduate programme freshmen of 55th Batch (Saga Agrisatya) has broken World’s record by Record Holders Republic in the “Most 3D People Formation” category during Campus Orientation Day for Freshmen (MPKMB) 2018. Total 3,456 students took part in 55 formations with the fastest time record of 2 minutes 56 seconds. Read more >>


IPB on Indonesian Biomass Potency: Japan and South Korea Agreed on 10-Billion-Dollars-Worth Contract

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) Surfactant and Bioenergy Research Centre organized an International Conference on Biomass 2018 involving 200+ domestic and international biomass researchers and practitioners/experts, where oil palm waste industry is the country’s highest biomass supplier. The recent 10-billion-dollars-worth contract signed by Japan and South Korea on Indonesian biomass utilization became another primary point in discussion. Read more >>


IPB Lecturer was Granted “Distinguished Paper Award 2018” in Japan

Dr. Megawati Simanjuntak from Department of Family and Consumers Science, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), was granted The Distinguished Paper Award at International Conference on Industry, Business and Social Sciences 2018 in Tokyo, Japan, with paper entitled “Coping Strategies in Consumer Complaints”. Read more >>

 


IPB Contributed To 401 Indonesian Most Prospective Patents in Last Decade

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and Ministry of Research, Technology and Education, Republic of Indonesia (Kemenristekdikti RI) attended workshop on intellectual property (IP) system and patents description as one of seven officially implemented IPs in Indonesia. IPB has contributed 415 innovations into list of 100+ Indonesian Most Prospective Innovation according to Business Innovation Center (BIC) version, where 401 of them are patents and 134 are certified. Read more >>


IPB, SEARCA and European Consortium in World’s Food Security and Climate Change Master Programme Curriculum Arrangement

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) with other SEARCA members (Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines) and European consortiums (IAVF-AGREENIUM and Agrinatura) developed a joint master programme curriculum related to food security and climate change. The challenges to anticipate in this regard ranged from food insecurity and production, flooding, drought, logistics, disrupted food distribution, crop damage, destruction food availability, food consumption, food shortages and eventually nutritional problems. Read more >>


Sarawak–Malaysia Education Minister Visit to IPB: Agricultural Sector Reinforcement Strategy and Vocational School Development

Minister of Education, Science, Investigation and Technology, Sarawak, Malaysia—Dato Sri Michael Manyin Jawong and his staffs’ two-day-visit to Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) included collaborative meetings and study/field visit series to IPB Darmaga Campus, Agriculture Development Station (ADS), Biopharmaceutical Medicinal Garden and IPB Vocational School. Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) through Directorate of International Programme, Centre for Transdisciplinary Science and Sustainability Sciences and other several faculties and study programmes carried out IPBTalks Series on Complexity and Sustainability Sciences inviting speakers from IPB and several universities from UK, Germany and USA with particular expertise. The lectures focused on broad-ranged specifications such as Sustainability Action Research, Green Campus, Indonesian Diaspora Series and Human Modified Landscape. Read more >>

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) through several departments organized and sent delegations to international short course programmes and conferences involving students from numerous countries and continents (Asia, Europe, America and Africa) as means to enhance international competitiveness and higher education internationalization towards higher World Class University ranking.
