As we have might known that the primary vision of IPB is to become a world class techno-socio-preneurial university and leading in the area of tropical agriculture, marine science, and biosciences. Therefore Rector and academic staff of the University, are responsible for the creation of new systems of values, particularly in education, science, and culture, which represent the main pillar for development and prosperity of future generations. Globalization of education and the 4th Industrial Revolution presence are inevitable and must be faced by the University. This condition, challenges us to deal with global change and high level of competition in many aspects including disruptive phenomenon in higher education business model. As one of the largest, oldest, and prominent university in Indonesia, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) is especially charged to lead in tropical agriculture, marine & biosciences through global interconnections. IPB aims to create interconnectivity between locals activities and global demands through innovation and creative education. IPB welcomes all international students, researcher, and scholar from around the world. About US

BOGOR AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) was established on 1 September 1963 and it is the only agriculture university in Indonesia. IPB focuses its activities on food security, energy, bio-medicine, poverty reduction, and environment and ecology. IPB was established to be center of excellence in agriculture (in board perspective) and to promote scientific research benefiting the future of mandkind. IPB is one of the national’s foremost institutions of higher education in Indonesia well-known not only for its remarkable diverse range of subjects, but also for its research-lead teaching and outstanding scientific environment. IPB is comprised of 9 faculties and 38 departments offering 48 doctoral study programs, 79 master study programs, 38 undergraduate study programs and 22 vocational programs. The university has more than 21 research centers and other facilities. The IPB campus is spread over four locations which are Darmaga Campus, the Baranangsiang Campus, Taman Kencana Campus, and the Gunung Gede Campus. The main campus is located in Darmaga, about 11 km west Bogor municipal area. To support IPB’s academic activities, IPB possesses a number of supporting unit such as the central library. IPB owns land assets totalling 559.1 ha, including an experimental farm totalling 262.1 ha and campus grounds of 297 ha. IPB has also held an Educational Forest for 140.300 ha. In addition, IPB maintains 8 students dormitories to accommodate up to 6.000 students. There are 58 activity student units covering sports, professional activities, community services and other activities.

DIRECTORATE OF INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS

Directorate of International Programs (DPI) is a unit under coordination of Vice Rector for Collaboration and Information Systems. DPI consist of two Sub-Directorate are International Program Services and Collaboration & International Relation. DPI has popular name at Bogor Agricultural University namely International Collaboration Office (ICO).

Main Task
To carry out technical and administration assignments in initiating and to coordinating national and / or international activities and developing institutional international program to encourage IPB to go international.

Functions
1. To initiate an effective cooperation both domestic and international and to develop international program for the institution by motivating IPB to go international
2. To promote the  development of Science and Technology to the strategic partners both domestic and foreign.
3. To coordinate working units within the institution and as a clearance house in the development of cooperation both domestic and foreign.
4. To increase and prepare program that encourage IPB to go international
5. To facilitate and prepare necessary travel documents for teaching and additional staffs who will travel abroad and facilitate the arrangement of document, administration and migration for expatriates (student, research staff, lectures)
6. To develop the cluster for international cooperation for the working unit.
7. To coordinate scholarship for the regional selected (BUD)

3. Experienced in organizing scholarship program for the regional selected (promotion, networking, and student enrollment)

DPI is open from Monday to Friday, except on national holidays. Our service hours are from 08.00 am – 4.00 pm with break from 12.00 am – 01.00 pm on Mondays to Thursdays. For Fridays, our services hours are from 08.00 am -04.30 pm with break from 11.30 am – 01.00. pm
